"Danger Rocks"

Sunset During Low Tide at the State Fish Pier in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
8"x10" Pintura Panel with Lukas 1862 oils.
I finally finished this one. I started it Plein Air at the Fish Pier. I let it sit for awhile before finishing the sky. I was trying to get the red glow under the purple clouds just right. I'm not the best at taking pictures of paintings though.

One of the tricks of the luminist painters was to put a light green imprimatura along the horizon. you are doing a fine job taking pics of your art.

my work is in the Peabody Historical Society & Museum Show: Historic Interpretation. if you want to see what I am up to, there are pics on my blog: www.debbieclarke.blogspot.com
